The Game-Changing Shorts

The makers of athletic shorts have finally gotten their ish together, y’all. Over the past several months, more and more name brands have hopped on the spandex 2-in-1-train, and athletic booties have been rejoicing, all over the world, ever since.

Running shorts have come with built-in underwear since…forever. But, running shorts with built-in spandex shorts are a new thing. A total game-changer, if you will.

They don’t ride up, they don’t leave an unsightly panty line, and my favorite part — they keep your booty covered! These shorts take squatting to a whole new level. LOVE!

Ready to turn up your training game? These Nike shorts are on clearance — Get yours here!

Due to the fact I live in athletic clothes, my training shorts are in heavy rotation this (hot) time of year. I have my favorites; and they’re either on my body or in the washer.

Here’s a few of my absolute favorite shorts that every FiC woman needs in her arsenal:

1. Nike Full Flex 2-in-1 (These are on sale! SUCH a good deal. I literally wear them every day.)

2. The North Face Better Than Naked Split Shorts (If you like longer shorts, you’ll love these. Plus, they’re super soft.)

3. The North Face Pulse Shorts (These shorts do not have built-in underwear or spandex, but they are some of the most flattering shorts I’ve ever worn. And, the elastic band is tight enough to keep them from riding up.)

4. Nike Printed Racer Short (Shorter than your typical athletic shorts, but so, so cute! The prints are vibrant, and the cut is extra flattering.)

What athletic shorts do you fancy? Any I need to try? Fill me in, sister!

Stay fit, friends. Xo

  • Love these! I hate working out in shorts, but I feel like these will change that for me! Buying some now!

  • I used to wear compression shorts under regular shorts for the longest time. With leg days being my favorite and training for a marathon I am extremely picky about how my shorts fit. I like a 2.5 inch inseam in my spandex. For the longest time I avoided lulu lemon like the plague. A month ago i gave in and bought a pair if the 4 way stretch shorts with the spandex waist band. They will cut out the underwear/briefs for you in store which I do to all my shorts anyway. I love them however I much prefer my trusty old nike’s.
