An Under-The-Weather Workout

Day four of this horrendous cold, and I am officially OVER IT. I have passed exhaustion, and I’ve lapped feeling sorry for myself; looks like I’m going for the gold…

Ok, that’s a tad dramatic. But really, I’m over it.

Quick shoutout to my sweet clients who have put up with me this week. I’m sure it’s been a real pleasure to hear me tell you “Keeeep goingggggg, don’t give up!!!!!!!!!” in a voice that sounds like a dying horse.

Love y’all. Mean it! 😉

On another note, there’s a plus side to being plagued with this God-awful sickness — I put together the perfect workout for the days I just can’t drag myself to the gym.

You can do this little circuit in your living room, right next to your box of Kleenex; and you can even do it in your pajamas. No matter how you do it, it will leave you feeling a little less lifeless and a little more accomplished.

An Under-The-Weather Workout
-100 jumping jacks
-Jog in place 1:00
-Jump in place 1:00
-20 lunges (each leg)
-Squat hold 1:00
-High knees :30
-30 Sumo squats
-Hamstring stretch 1:00
-100 calf raises
-Calf stretch (each leg) :45
REPEAT –> IF you feel up to it. If you feel dizzy or nauseated, take a break and hydrate. Don’t push yourself too hard. 

I sincerely hope none of you get sick any time soon. But if you do, just embrace the dying-horse voice, give in to the exhaustion, and take.care.of.yourself. Xo
