The May FitList

So I had full intention to have my May FitList published yesterday, but then…homemade lasagna happened. And if you’ve never made lasagna completely from scratch — it takes a full day. And approximately five thousand different ingredients and steps.

But MAN it’s worth it.

I used Ina Garten’s recipe, with a few tweaks of my own. I’ll post the recipe soon; it’s a keeper.

And as if that wasn’t time-consuming enough, here’s the icing on the cake… (Pun intended.)

If you came to this post for my May FitList, you’re probably wondering why tf you’re trusting a woman who makes food like this. Two words: welcome, friend! 🙂

If you’re new around here, or don’t know me at all, you’ll learn quickly I’m not your typical fitness instructor. I love dessert. I’m not vegan. I’m not a vegetarian. I’m not even a pescatarian. I believe in not being miserable, and eating what makes you (and your body) feel good, in moderation.

I’ve been creating at-home workouts since 2013, so I’m no stranger to this home-gym thing. But for most of you, it’s taken a little time to adjust. And understandably so! Especially under the conditions of a world-wide pandemic. Let’s be real; nothing about this is easy.

And with all of us (fitness instructors included) having to find new and creative ways to stay active, the struggle is real. Yes, the online-workout options are endless, but sometimes a list makes life just a little bit easier.

If it helps and motivates you, you can download and print The May FitList here. Put it on your bathroom mirror, put it on your fridge, or set it as your phone background. Do what’s best for you; and don’t forget to tag me in your progress posts! #MayFitList #TheMattieClaire @themattieclaire on Instagram

Stay safe, well, and happy! And as always, reach out to me if you have any questions.
