After spending 6+ hours this past weekend assisting The Boyfriend with routine eye exams at the Army Reserve Center, my respect for our country’s vets was further confirmed.
There is absolutely NO way I could do what those men and women do. Quite honestly, I can’t even imagine it. And being right in the middle of it all day, on a Saturday, really puts things into perspective.
Reeeeeally into perspective…
There’s nothing like getting called “tiny” by a big-ass Captain. Literally, y’all; he told me I was too tiny to be a trainer. And then he squeezed my wimpy arm muscle. I told him it was the scrubs; they don’t do much for a physique.
Anyone want to take a guess at what I’ve been focusing on this week?
Yup, you guessed it — ARMS. Lots and lots of arm work. And it hasn’t been easy, friends. Flu shots are no joke. My arm’s been sore for three freakin’ days! (Any tips on easing a sore flu-shot arm are welcome.)

Try incorporating this arm workout into your fitness routine three times a week. You’ll be a little sore, but I can guarantee you will NOT feel wimpy! 😉
Enjoy! & stay fit, friends. Xo
