25 Days of Fitness Challenge

Tonight is the night. The night we’ve been anxiously awaiting since 13 Nights of Halloween came to a close. Tonight is the first night of ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas. The Christmas season has officially started, y’all!

In honor of these beloved 25 days, I have created a workout plan. A workout plan specifically tailored towards 25 days of Christmas movie marathons. Just consider it an early Christmas gift from me to you. 🙂

Here it is — Fit is Chic’s 25 Days of Fitness. At EVERY commercial break, execute each sequence and repeat until the commercial break is over. Don’t give up; it’s only 25 days. You got this!

Dec. 1) Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas – 25 mountain climbers, 25 jumping jacks, rest 25 seconds, repeat

Dec. 2) The Santa Clause – 25 scissor kicks, 25 flutter kicks, 25 seconds at 6 inches, repeat

Dec. 3) Scrooged – 25 seconds of left splits, 25 seconds of right splits, repeat

Dec. 4) National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – 25 bicep curls with 15 lb., 25 hammer curls with 15 lb., rest 25 seconds, repeat
Deck The Halls – 25 burpees, 25 ski hops, rest 25 seconds, repeat

Dec. 5) Rudolph’s Shiny New Year – 25 pushups, rest 25 seconds, repeat
The Polar Express – 25 high knees, 25 ski hops, 25 standing calf raises, repeat

Dec. 6) Frosty’s Winter Wonderland – Full plank for 25 seconds, forearm plank for 25 seconds, 25 pushups, repeat
The Muppet Christmas Carol – 25 clockwise arm circles with 5 lb., 25 counter-clockwise arm circles with 5 lb., 25 horizontal arm raises with 5 lb., rest 25 seconds, repeat

Dec. 7) The Santa Clause – 25 scissor kicks, 25 flutter kicks, 25 seconds at 6 inches, repeat
The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause – 25 pilates pumps with knees bent, 25 pilates pumps with straight legs, repeat

Dec. 8) The Mistle-Tones – 25 battements to the front, side and back with left leg, repeat with the right leg, repeat sequence **(Keep your toes pointed)
Holidaze – 25 standing calf raises (w/ legs turned out), 25 grande plié squats, repeat

Dec. 9) Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas – 25 mountain climbers, 25 jumping jacks, rest 25 seconds, repeat

Dec. 10) The Year Without a Santa Claus – 1:25 hamstring stretch, 25-second standing calf stretch for each calf, repeat
Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town – 25 skips in place, 25 burpees, repeat

Dec. 11) Holiday in Handcuffs – 25 tricep kickbacks with 10 lb., 25 reverse arm raises (still focusing on triceps) with 10 lb., rest 25 seconds, repeat
Melissa and Joey – 25 standing side crunches with 20 lb. on right and left side, 25 standing Russian twists with 20 lb., repeat
Baby Daddy – Hold 20 lb. dumbbell, with both hands, straight out in front of you for 25 seconds, rest for 25 seconds, repeat

Dec. 12) Scrooged – 25 seconds of left splits, 25 seconds of right splits, repeat

Dec. 13) Disney, Pixar Toy Story Marathon – 25 lunges, 25 side lunges, repeat

Dec. 14) Disney’s The Little Mermaid – 25 leg lifts (both legs together), 25 butt lifts, repeat

Dec. 15) National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – 25 bicep curls with 15 lb., 25 hammer curls with 15 lb., rest 25 seconds, repeat

Dec. 16) The Santa Clause – 25 scissor kicks, 25 flutter kicks, 25 seconds at 6 inches, repeat
The Santa Clause 2 – 25 crunches, 25 turtle reaches, repeat

Dec. 17) The Polar Express – 25 high knees, 25 ski hops, 25 standing calf raises, repeat

Dec. 18) Mickey’s Christmas Carol – 25 squats, pulse for 25 seconds in squat position, hold squat for 25 seconds, repeat
Mary Poppins – 25 inner-thigh sweeps, 25 pushups, repeat

Dec. 19) Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and The Island of Misfit Toys – 25 jump squats, jog in place for 25 seconds, repeat
