Long time no talk, FiC followers. How is everyone doing? Good? Great! š
Ok, let’s just jump right into it. Have you ever wanted a personal trainer? Have you ever had a personal trainer? Ever had a friend who’s had a personal trainer? It probably sounds pretty glamorous, but it is anything BUT glamorous.
Fortunately, because I work for myself and not for a gym, I get to choose my clients carefully. But no amount of carefulness can account for a client’s lazy ass-ness.
Seriously, some people really think a trainer is magic.Ā
But personal trainersĀ are NOT magic. Our clients have to put in the work. A lack of effort is a waste of our time. And quite frankly, it’s kind of disrespectful af. We dedicate our time and energy to you; use it wisely. <3
So if you’re considering hiring a personal trainer, here’s a few questions to ask yourself first…
1. Am I ready for the financial responsibility?
Hiring a personal trainer is not cheap. If it was, everyone would have one, right? š But I can promise you this — It’s worth it!
2. Am I willing to commit to this?
No one likes a quitter. ESPECIALLY a personal trainer. If you think you might quit or give up,Ā think again. A dedicated trainer will NOT let you give up. Wait until your life slows down a little, and then commit to a trainer. (We’re not going anywhere.)
3. Am I ready to take accountability for what I put into my body?
YOU CANNOT OUT-TRAIN A BAD DIET. You just can’t. Don’t waste all of your hard work on shitty habits. You CAN do this! (You have my word.)
4. Am I dedicated enough?
Changing your body means changing your habits. You can’t do one without the other. If you’re not ready to dedicate some serious effort, then a personal trainer might not be for you. (And that is totally OK! There’s plenty of other options.)
5. Am I ready to feel vulnerable with a stranger?Ā
Trusting someone to help transform your body is scary. It’s normal to feel nervous, embarrassed or anxious. But trust me, trainers haveĀ seen it all.
If you have any questions, hesitations or concerns regarding personal training, please don’t hesitate to ask! That’s what I’m here for.Ā <3
If you’re interested in training with me this fall, contact me ASAP! I only have two spots left. š (Here’s a few client testimonialsĀ for your reference.)
