Everyone has their favorite go-to cardio sesh. In a big hurry, mine’s Tabata; and when I’m just pressed for time, my 20-minute Elliptical workout never fails. It makes me sweat; and I burn over 200 calories every. single. time.
I shared a similar version of my Elliptical workout last year, but this one is just a tad different.
This version incorporates the use of both the lower handles and upper handles of the Elliptical. I think you’ll like this little tweak. It’s a bit more challenging, but nothing you can’t handle!
I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ll mention it again — music MAKES this workout. Find an upbeat playlist or Pandora station, and get after it.
There’s a million different ways to mix up your Elliptical workout; and this is just one of them. Try doing two minutes on your tip-toes to engage your calves, or a few minutes holding on to the lower handles, leaning back slightly, to make your quads b u r n.
Do you have a little Elliptical trick you want to share? Fill me in! I’d love to try it.
Stay fit, friends! Xo
Hey Mattie! Thanks for visiting PR3315 today! I was wondering if you have any thoughts on the Insanity workouts with Shaun T? My best friend, boyfriend and I are in week four. It’s definitely tough, but we’ve all been feeling more energized.
I think that’s a GREAT workout! Keep up the hard work. Xo
